Seasonal Scenes

Hello Lovelies,
last Sunday morning was so foggy. Hubby, eldest and I headed out for a stroll at the country park. When we arrived you could hardly see across the small lake. I love the quiet stillness on days like this.
I loved wandering the paths, following Eldest's chosen route and listening  to him chatting happily with his dad.
I noticed that the two of them are almost the same height...how do I have a man sized boy already?......it baffles me.
I was happy taking photos of the dewy cobwebs and the beautiful berries and leaves.
Back at the lake we fed the ducks and a little further along we fed the gulls....I liked these sweet faced, non scary gulls. And you certainly had to admire their agility. Catching the bird seed in mid air was no biggy to them.
By late morning the sun was beginning to break through. And when we got home I had to smile at my ripple blanket, looking pretty on the chair where I had left it earlier.

  3. Jacquie, every time you show us photographs of nearby places where you can take walks, I begin to turn a faint shade of green. I know you are aware of the beauty of your surroundings, but...truly your photographs show its splendour so well, through every season.

I am hoping that your taking this walk with those two tall gentlemen means that you are recovering from your fall. To be outdoors in sunshine with excellent company and gorgeous countryside...well, what could be better?

  5. Beautiful pictures as always. Winter seems to be settling in quickly here. The chill was in the air all day today with cloudy, broody skies. So nice that you all go on hikes together. I miss those days.
    Blessings,

  6. Gorgeous photos, especially those scarlet leaves and the gulls on the lake.. We went to watch football on Sunday afternoon, and we could hardly see across the pitch it was so foggy. My eldest, who's 12, is up to my eyebrows now. And I'm fairly tall. Your crochet looks lovely there waiting for you, very cosy to come back to after a walk. I hope you have a good weekend Jacquie. 11. It makes me wonder where all this extra child comes from as well. Big daughter has finally caught me up, much to her delight and my consternation - I'm not sure I'm not old enough to have a child as tall as me! Lovely photos as usual, I always enjoy coming for a walk with you xx
